Welcome to the Blueskyday photography.

I'm David Taylor who lives in Hexham, a small market town in the North East of England. I've been interested in photography for about ten years, with a particular interest in landscape work for the past three.

I mainly work in the Northumbrian countryside, which is astonishingly varied. From gently rolling hills to craggy cliffs, there is never any shortage of suitable subjects.

My favourite location: the Northumbrian Coast. Each visit is different as the conditions are never the same twice. Favourite place on the Northumbrian Coast? That would have to be the fishing village of Craster.

The village itself is unspoiled, the coastline is composed of the black rocks of the Whin Sill formation, and the craggy remains of Dunstanburgh Castle are only a short walk north.
