Come and be spoilt in our period town house in Berwick-upon-Tweed located right on the border of England and Scotland.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is a beautiful fortified walled town steeped in history and a great place from which to explore Northumberland's Border Country.

Located on the East Coast Rail Line with Edinburgh and Newcastle 40 minutes along the track, w e are also only 20 minutes by car from the Cheviot Hills and the Castles of the Northumbrian Coast.

Closer to home we are an easy stroll from the Elizabethan built town walls which are the best preserved of their type in Europe.

Welcome to our peaceful holiday home set in a quiet courtyard with no traffic noise, only five minutes from the town centre and Berwick's Railway Station with the Sea Beach and Links Golf Course.

Our lounge is cosy and very comfortable, where you can sit and listen to your CDs or tapes on our music centre, play your favourite video or watch TV and relax with a good book.

The whole house is furnished and decorated to a very high standard to make your stay at the Retreat a memorable one, it has a large kitchen - dining room fully fitted to make you feel at home.

We have two bedrooms,  the master bedroom has a double and a single bed while the second is a small double bedroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower etc., with Linen and towels are provided.

We have spent all time lovingly restoring this house, to bring it up to the same standards or our Silver Award Guest House. There is a small secluded garden with picnic bench and seats and a barbecue for the long summer evenings.

Berwick upon Tweed has a historic past being fort for and captured no less than 15 times, making a visit to the Military Barracks & Museum an interesting experience .

Our Seasonal Tariff is  £200 ‑ £400 per week
